Outset is the finest philanthropy of its kind, offering its patrons the opportunity to engage with contemporary art at the raw, creative level, directly with artists, with immediate impact.

With the support of Outset, Art Licks was able to launch an exciting and ambitious radio station for its festival, and commission five new artist works for broadcasts. This was only made possible with the support of Outset, and it's a real game-changer to work with such an open-minded and trusting organisation.

The most significant support you can receive as an artist comes early. Outset do this with passion, commitment and trust. They show a belief in the process of creating art. It is extraordinary to find people who can share your vision and be in a position to allow new work to be realised both as advocates and be enabling financial support.

Thanks to our partnership with Outset, we have been able to identify and address a real and growing issue being experienced by young artists in London. With the creation of the Tiffany & Co. x Outset Studiomakers prize, by 2019, we will have funded 21 young artists with a workspace for a year to begin their careers; an accomplishment we are extremely proud of.

Outset supporters become part of an international community of interesting like-minded people. I have been informed and stimulated but, and this is important to me, we also have a great deal of fun. It is very gratifying to see what a significant difference Outset can make with our contributions and to see the work produced by artists Outset has helped.

What I love about Outset is the uniquely close engagement one gets with artists, institutions and galleries, the opportunity to be part of some of the most exciting new art projects and, quite simply, to learn something new every time.
